There has been a Quaker presence in Ramallah (now the capital city of the Palestine territory) since the late 19th century; the local Friends Meeting was formally established and the Meeting House built before WW1.  One can find more information on its website:  www.rfmq.org.

Woodbridge Quakers have supported the Meeting financially for a number of years, as well as the associated but organisationally separate Ramallah Friends School.
